this stupid futzing over the difference between the contraction of "you" and "are" and the possessive pronoun "your" is misguided and pedantic. obviously, in the proper, authentic negro dialect, it's "dontmeanYOblack." i mean, come on twitter, let's get it right!
"dontmeanyoublack" is how it would be said in my neck of thewoods. Its a soft "t", and "don't" should sort of rhyme with "own".
I think maybe angrycubano et al ought to read this old gem.
