Scott Brown Tells President To Stay Away

Scott Brown, the Republican candidate in the allegedly tight-but possibly worrying!-Massachusetts Senate race, is warning the President of the United States to "stay away" from the Commonwealth. At the very least, he's following in some distinguished Republican senatorial footsteps there.

Brown was quoted in the Herald* as saying, "It's me against the machine and it always has been."

This is (sadly) still a two-party country. He's not against the machine, he is the machine. Or, at least it's right-hand side.

* Sorry, I do skim the Herald. Mostly for laughs from their commenters.

Aren't the Herald commenters the best (present company excluded, obvs)? My favorite days are when there are stories about the local mob for the Greek chorus to react to. Comic gold.

Actually, before they trimmed the quote, he was talking about Skynet. Or The Iron Giant. Or his DVR.

Perhaps the Chamber of Commerce can run a quick Scott Brown ad denouncing the machine. Politics makes me laugh.
