"There is absolutely no one more in tune with the hearts and minds of everyday Americans than Governor Palin, and I'm excited to welcome her back to our beautiful state this spring."
-Comedy writers everywhere are rejoicing at Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann's announcement that Sarah Palin will come campaign for her this April.

What key is her defibrillator in?
Ugh, can we eliminate politicians' use of the word "beautiful" already. No other word conveys "I have nothing meaningful to say" (or "nicer to say," when referring to political opponents' families) better than beautiful...
Scheduled for May sweeps is her adoption of Trig and Tripp.
Hasn't Minnesota been punished enough?
With Al Franken, you mean?
What happened, Scott Brown have other too many other commitments?
Just wait! Scott's wife Gail Huff will probably be, at some point, asked by Fox to join Sarah as a commentator/reporter. She has worked for the ABC affiliate in Boston for years.
Or just "too many other," depending on your particular "red eye" experience.
She'll be able to see Canadians seeing doctors from her private jet.

Shoo, socialists! Shoo!

Really?! Damn I was sitting here trying to think of a BTO tie-in.
Didn't realize that somebody else had already taken care of that business.
Bravo.
Unfortunately, she might be right about the "minds" part.
I feel like a defeatist by thinking, yeah apparently maybe she really is right about the minds and hearts of most Americans...
Good for the Bachman campaign if their war chest is so full they can afford $100,000 per stump speech!
Is "everyday Americans" the new "real Americans"?
As long as we don't have to hear about "Joe Six-Pack" any more, I'm cool with it.
How about a return of Joe the Plumber? The pipes, the pipes are calling...
