How "Lost" Will End

You see Hurley there? He's gonna die.
"We are ending this story with these characters, and that's all we have planned. We're not setting up a sequel. We're not planting elements for future shows. We certainly understand and absolutely respect that ABC and Disney have an incredibly valuable franchise and they want to do more things with 'Lost,' but the story we're telling ends in May."
-"Lost" executive producer Carlton Cuse discusses the show's final season. There are no spoilers for how the series will end, but the producers "praise the ambiguity" of "The Sopranos" finale, which may indicate that things will be left unresolved. Also, "Hurley dies."

Sure, okay, whatever, but what about Knights of Prosperity?

"things will be left unresolved."

This means they have no fucking idea how to tie everything together.

Nah. It's different than the X-Files. This one's been plotted out in full for a couple of years now.

And you trust the writers.... why? Fucking Alias was plotted out in full and it still sucked.

Not sure I think it totally makes sense for the X-files show not to really offer any closure... they wanted you to see the movies. On that note I still haven't seen the second one.

I'm not saying it's terrible to leave unresolved issues in series, it's somewhat truer to real life, but I don't believe that everything in the X Files was thought out, I think there were a lot of holes that they dug themselves into and then just dropped because they couldn't figure out how to resolve them.

(I don't think truer is a word)

Rw: Don't see the second one. It's like fanfiction, and not even the good fanfiction.

I have no problem with Hurley dying. He's never been one of my favorites. I have no love for the stoner cliche.

I must say, last season I quite enjoyed the Hurley/Miles Action Team.

DorothyMantooth

So Hurley's the fat one, right?
(I honestly do not watch this show. AND I COULD NOT BE ANY HAPPIER ABOUT THAT.)

I don't even know enough about the show to make fun of it. Every time Balk says "Hurley dies" I kind of regret that, a little.

Things I know about "Lost":
1. Didn't it used to have one of the hobbits in it? I don't see him in the photo so I guess he's gone now?
2. Saying "Hurley dies" makes people RAGE
3.

The ending is that everybody watching the show are people, and the people who were in the plane crash are TV characters who took over these people's lives for 50someodd hours, and the entire thing was an experiment to see if it could be done in a different way than its been done before, which it was, and the results of how it ends are documented in newspapers the week after the program cuts off. SPOILER ALERT.

I'll bet Hurley really WILL die.

And Balk will never be able to convince anyone that he just made that up.
