i am concerned that the current administration has allow the spin of the minority party to produce real results. although i don't like the practice, there hasn't been effective politicking in regards to where this mess came from and who is trying to fix it. right now the republicans seems to be convincing some people that obama is the reason we are where we are.

I had long and hard reservations about "jamming the present bill through" before Foxy Brown could raise his hand and take his All-American Seat.

But, that's panywaist humanist thinking. Fuck 'em. Pass the bill. And I hope some poor person who was never insured before gets triaged before you and you fucking CROAK, Joe Lieberman.

Yep. It's got to get a whole lot uglier before it gets better. People reared in dysfunctional families will understand what I'm talking about.

I basically agree with this (strategy of needing to pass health care), but his list of critiques: "You're feckless. You don't follow through on your promises. You don't deliver progress" are basically what, for lack of a better term, the left is saying. These next elections, like in MA, will probably turn on what so-called independents are thinking, which seems to me is: "you're spending too much, jobs jobs jobs, you're rushing, you're making tricky." There's a lot of congressional seats where those independents will matter, so, congresspeople, no one said it would be easy.

yes. I mean, it kind of sucks for the House since they passed a bill so very long ago and it got mired in the supermajority ^requirements^ of the Senate, but I guess that now they should suck it up and vote for something rather than go home with nothing.
