What's the Right Talking About Today? Ezekiel Emanuel's Death Panel Rationing (also Barack Obama Kills Babies)

Interested in keeping up with the news the same way the right does? Here's a peek inside our mailbox! Today's missive from the Christian right: "social justice" is code for baby-killing and death panels!

really, any term with the word "social" in it is a dirty word for the right. remember, they are a group based on selfishness and greed, neither of which leave room for other folks.

LOVE the disclaimer at the beginning: "Personal anecdotes rarely give a complete picture of complex issues. That being said… KILL BABY KILL DEATH FACELESS KARL MARX OBAMA TAX BABY DEATH." It's a good thing we avoided creating an entirely government-run health care system like Britain's NHS, by the narrow margin of 535 congressmen to zero. It's just too bad Steven Hawking had to die at the hands of an Emmanuel-family-only Death Panel for us to recognize the danger of this course of action. USA!!!

That was informative. I'm now ready to perform brain surgery on Tony Caputo, and I didn't even need the government to tell me I could.

"When faceless bureaucrats make like and death decisions"

So the faceless bureaucrats are now, like, fifteen? Now I'm terrified.

Are there no Neo-Con copy editors?? Are grammar and spelling Marxist constructs too?

myfanwy (#1,124)

Spelling and syntax are government-imposed regulations. Let the free market decide how words should be used!

Look on the bright side; the world now has one fewer Jayden in it.

I like what Gmail did to the names in the To: field: "Tony Caputo to Stop, Stop, Fox, Silent, johneidson, Free, Fox, Stop, America"

Now they're going to ration our Death Panels?! I was so looking forward to having unlimited access to them.

Wow. They feel no obligation to help other people, yet denounce doctors who decided not to try to save a baby with at best only a 1% chance of survival.

They don't want to pay taxes to save more lives, yet scream bloody murder when doctors make the difficult decision not to spend limited resources on a hopeless case.

They go on endlessly about personal responsibility, yet don't make the point that perhaps a woman with a history of five miscarriages should give up on the idea of having more children.

They compare stem-cell research and other medical research to 'playing god', yet demand god-like feats of extreme intervention in individual cases that trigger their fears of death.

It's all about power and control for them. They are absolutely bereft of principles. They probably couldn't even define the word.
