Kids Today

Hot with the kids now: Pot, pain pills, and ADD drugs. Not so hot: Cigarettes, meth, and binge drinking. It breaks my heart to see this new generation turn its back on the classics. Why, when I was their age we used to binge drink uphill both ways etc.

Think of the fun they're missing out of by embracing the former three while abandoning the latter: pain pills and binge drinking (when it doesn't end in vomit) or ADD drugs and cigarettes (the 'ol study aids when I was in college).

Pot and excessive to binge drinking are the constants; while coke, anti-anxiety, methamphetamine, hallucinogenics, laudanum, morphine drips, ecstasy, skeletal muscle relaxants, heroin, and others are merely places to visit from time to time.

Good. That means there'll be plenty of Redi-Whip in the dairy case.

We'll always have coke-fueled orgies, Balk. Don't try to take those away from the youth just yet.

God damn kids and their pain pills make doctors timid about prescribing VicodinXS to those of us who really want need it.
