And now to Wales: "Police hiding in a car with a disabled boy and his parents as they made the morning school run saw a man mimicking the child, a court has heard.... They saw Steven Beavan, 35, of Rhyl, Denbighshire, tap his head, adopt a limp and make ape-like expressions." The prosecutor, however, will not put the mother on the stand, because of how she and the boy's father have treated Beavan during a lengthy dispute: "[O]ver a six-year period the couple had allegedly called Mr Beavan various abusive names including 'vermin', 'scum', 'gayboy' and 'gaylord'. They had had leaflets addressed to 'gaylord' sent to his house." The hearing continues.

At last, A crackdown on mime!
Bad Boy Bubby.
shouldn't these police be out fighting knife crime?
Shouldn't those parents have Knife crimed 'gaylord'? What the hell is a 35 y.o. doing picking on a child?
Wait. The hiding-in-a-car surveillance happened at school dropoff, in public? Then why was hiding-in-a-car surveillance necessary in order to see it happening? I mean, this story is strange. But I guess I'm glad they're taking harassment of a kid that seriously?
(It's obviously not OK for them to be harassing this dude either. I have no real opinion here!)
And the boy was in the car why? Did they need him to make sure the mimicry was accurate?
Shown here asking daughter Katy about what kissing a girl was really like.
To Catch A ______________
Gaylord, obvs.
Shudder. People are FUCKED. (Or since it's Wales, should that be ffUCKED?)
Also, the correct form of address is "Your Gaylordship."
Sorry, it's the Welsh again. Nothing to do with the rest of us.
I'm distrustful of a nation that shuns vowels.
Stupid Poland.
To be fair, if your name was "Steven Beavan," you'd have problems too.
I for one would like to know what makes an expression particularly 'ape-like'?
I would particularly want to know what his face looked like with no expression at all. Might be too close to call. Then you have the patting unruly windswept hair and leaning over daughter's buggy defence, and no case to answer, I submit. Still, at least nobody shot anybody.
I'm curious to know how the police were concealed in the car, but were still able to see all this happening. Were they dressed up as sheep?
Or drunk Ladettes
they had jackets with 'civilian' written on them
Maybe the police are Royals Watchers:

Now that's what I'm looking for in a Public Apology vertical by Dave Bry! C'mon Dave, dig deeper!
I've never quite figured out just what the hell a "gaylord" is, anyway.
