I got to the bit in the article which reads : "He spoke at a moderately-attended news conference in a hotel basement ..." and my brain immediately flashed on those basement scenes from The Road, and the image of cannibals harvesting limbs from a still-living Guiliani seemed a fitting metaphor for the Republican party over the past eight years. And, in a non-metaphorical way, totally awesome.
