See, that's the thing. Women are going to have unwanted pregnancies, and perhaps by making it illegal you will have fewer abortions - but you will have more unwanted children, dumpster-babies, and most importantly back-alley illegal abortions with coat hangers and dubious medications.
And in the mean time, these same folks preach teaching abstinence instead of safe sex...leading to more unwanted pregnancies (ahem, BRISTOL PALIN), and full circle to the back alley illegal abortions. ARRRGGHHH!
The up side is that more unwanted babies mean more people with low self esteem i.e., more cheap labor to exploit. It's a win win for the republicans since they want to close the borders.
The low self esteem will then produce women who look to sex and babies for approval. Once again, arguing with a kitchen table.
This is true - my cousins in New Jersey, who fall on the lower end of the socioeconomic strata cling to two things - having babies, and being racist. Having a baby is one of the few status symbols available to them, even though it means even more economic liability and, frankly, most of their parenting skills are on autopilot.
Baboleen, it will also provide a steady supply of local healthy white babies to adopt. Repubs are tired of flying to China for a girl baby.

Oh, so this is the master plan, i see. Without abortions, all of these RNC members with RNC health care have to have RNC babies, who in 18 years will be indoctrinated RNC voters, just like religion. It's brilliant.
