Ok, and now I've read the piece and see that Kurtz ends it with this: "Ninety-nine percent chance he runs again." Which is probably about right.

So there was really not point to asking the question in the first place, was there Howie? But as Balk notes, you win the prize for being the first to ask it – just 10 months into Obama's first term.

I'm gonna go ahead and answer that one right now, Howie: No. It is not conceivable.

Asking whether political animal like Obama would just give up his chance at getting another four years as president (which isn't much time, by the way) is like asking whether a sea lion will decide he just doesn't care for fish any more.

What a stupid thing for Kurtz to write about. I swear, the pundit echo chamber has gotten so noisy that these guys need to come up with attention-getting but idiotic topics just to be noticed these days.
