"The F across the platform will be leaving first." Highly annoyed waddle. "THE V ACROSS THE PLATFORM WILL BE LEAVING FIRST." Aggravated waddle. The F train then leaves. "The F across the platform will be leaving first." There is, of course, no longer an F, but soon another train shows up. Enraged waddle. "This train will be running on the C line." No one moves.
