Here's a frightening side effect to the SWINE FLU EPIDEMIC that we had not even considered: If everyone is home from work or school during the day, the Internet will collapse! A Department of Homeland Security report "recommends that the general public voluntarily limit their use of online gaming and video browsing during a pandemic. The extent to which people will limit their consumption of this type of media is debatable, and the report said that compliance would have to be above 75% to have an impact," which, you know, not gonna happen. What are we going to do, if we're all home sick and unable to watch porn or download music illegally? Read a book? I think NOT. It's time for our government to stop screwing around with meaningless distractions and focus on this very real issue that will affect us all.

Maybe the Department of Homeland Security can make people read newspapers while they're sick? Win-win?
Member that time when someone said something about how they heard that Michael Jackson had died and we were all like, "OMG! Let's check TMZ!" and TMZ wouldn't load because everyone else was trying to see if Michael Jackson was dead? That was scary.
I've got some Y2K Internet in the hall closet.
This suggests that the government assumes we do something at work other than spend all day on the internet, watching cat videos.
last time i was home sick i was watching MGMT videos and they are so damn tripped out i couldn't watch anymore and my head felt like i was on a lot of drugs - not like flu drugs, like PCP drugs. so next time i'll just turn on the tube and watch my life slip away like sands through the hourglass. does anyone know if bo and hope are still on days of our lives?
I think they're dead... so swine flu is the one who's going to burn down the Library? I was wondering when we'd circle back around to this.
