Oh, That's So Cute, An Ice-Skating Bea… AAAGHHH!!! NO, NO!!! PLEASE GOD, HELP ME!!!
You know what bears don't like so much? Wearing ice-skates. As the BBC reports, an ice-skating bear killed the manager of a touring Russian circus while they practiced for a show in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. "The bear, WHO HAD ON SKATES AT THE TIME, severely mauled another circus worker who tried to rescue the manager." Apparently, bears in Russia play hockey, too. That seems like a good idea. Let's give these killing machines big sticks to go along with their razor-sharp claws and teeth.

It looks like it's the helmet that the bear did not like.
Wait. That can't be real. Can it? Bear feet fit into ice skates? A bear let someone put ice skates on its feet? and teach it how to skate and how to use a hockey stick? I find all of this highly unlikely, yet I am intrigued.
Do you think they have to suffer the incessant tightening of the laces? That always upset me, as a child.
Car-bear-ator?
Tie Domi could have taken that bear.
I think folks who do this to bears deserve to die. Torturing animals for entertainment is seriously fucked up. Animals are for eating.
I bet they call that bear Khabibulin.
Dave Bry? WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH ALEX BALK?
Shades of The Ben Show?

Of course, I can't see the video at work, and I think I'm glad for that. This reminded me that I saw Der Spiegel yesterday that the Family Guy is now captioned into Russian, complete with obligatory performing bear jokes: http://www.spiegel.de/video/video-1027896.html
What a cheat! I was waiting for blood.
Hey, didn't that bruin play for Pittsburgh in the mid-1970s?
Jeezus – I was watching that video with my butt cheeks clenched waiting for the mauling, both fascinated and afraid, and…there was nothing. No mauling.
I hate you all.
Missed the hideously grisly murder of the bear's dignity, did you?

Ask and you shall receive.
I can die happy now. Thank you.
This only reminds me of the final chapter of Cormac McCarthy's "Blood Meridian".
