I'm strangely sad about this – maybe it's because he took custody of his sister Wendy's kid when she died a few years ago?
Full disclosure: I used to work for one of his firms and he used to scowl at me. Yet here I am, saddened by his death all the same.
My first thought was about Wendy's kid as well. Who does the poor child have left to her now?
I love the detail that his Dec. 25th, 1947 birthdate caused his mother to wonder openly if he was the Messiah. Must have been fun for the siblings.
