Birther Fined For Telling The Truth About Kenyan Usurper

The world won't listenBirther Queen Bee Orly Taitz has been fined $20,000 for "wasting the judicial resources" of a Georgia court where she filed one of her ridiculous lawsuits. "The Court finds that counsel's conduct was willful and not merely negligent," says District Judge Clay D. Land. "It demonstrates bad faith on her part. " Willful, negligent, and in bad faith: It's the Birther trifecta!

Update: "'Are you kidding? Of course not,' she said, asked whether she planned to send a check. 'This is a form of intimidation.'" Oh, the irony.

Is there any legal process that could be used to strip her of her U.S. citizenship? I'm sure her native Republic of Moldova could desperately use her dental and legal skills.

Good God she is creepy.

That picture looks like Joey Heatherton fell outta the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down.

And why do the speeding, out-of-control cement mixer trucks always not hit this out of control mess?

Imagine waking to that every morning?

What an imature thing to say, but she must have seen this picture before it was published!

I'm sure she can find a mail-order judge to hear this case eventually.

She already has her hand-picked "American Grand Jury" which has indicted the President on charges of fraud and treason. They're pissed that no federal court will recognize them or their documents. In their teeny li'l minds, a citizen-organized lynch mob trumps judicial process.

The magic of the internet indicates Judge Land was nominated to the bench by Pres. Bush, so presumably he's a good conservative and not unduly biased against this woman. So why all the hoo-ha about 'intimidation'? Or am I being too logical here?

Someone give this woman a talk show - stat. I'm serious, she is way more entertaining than Wendy Williams.

Talk show, hell. This woman was born to become a porn parody. Imagine a three-way featuring Orly, Palin, and Glenn Beck. (Or if you're trying to eat lunch, don't.)

Thanks to this comment, I was able to have my lunch one more time.

The headline to this article expresses a profound failure to examine either the record leading to this $20,000 fine or the ruling that the judge issued in imposing the fine. The fine imposed on Orly Taitz barely has a connection to the truth or falsity of the Kenyan Birth Certificate. As the Judge explained in language clear enough for all but Taitz true believers, Ms Taitz has abused the legal procedures of the court to a degree that is unprecedented in the court's memory. She has been repeatedly admonished and warned to follow something approaching the procedures and rules of a federal court, and her repeated response has been to impugn the integrity of anyone who does not allow her to carry on like a childish brat. For example, it is nearly unheard of that out of state counsel is allowed to appear without going through the procedure of obtaining admission pro hac vice. Instead of acknowledging that the court had been extremely accommodating to her, Ms Taitz has unleashed a shocking stream of the lowest vitriol on the court for expecting her to respond to the legal rules she purports to invoke. Instead of continuing to thumb her nose at the court, Ms. Taitz should thank her lucky stars that Judge Land limited himself to a $20,000 fine. Most judges would have long ago imposed sanctions far more serious. But then again, there is no so blind . . .

Uhh... Dave? The headline was sarcastic. Balk pretty clearly agrees with you, but this maybe didn't seem like the venue to recap the whole mess.

I have concluded that this woman is doing brilliant performance art. There's no other explanation for this.
