Beginning of the End for the 'New York Observer'
Interim New York Observer editor Tom McGeveran announced at today's regular Wednesday staff meeting that he will be leaving the paper at the end of the year. (Which is far too much notice if you ask me, but then, no one did!) The publisher, Jared Kushner, gave his own paper a statement on McGeveran's departure through his spokesperson.

"Our employer could not be reached for comment."
We hear that around here every other Friday.
At least this one is on his honeymoon.
And I just subscribed! Srsly. It's like $14 a year. Go do it. I guess I have a magic touch. I was a Portfolio subscriber as well.
