To the frontiers of technology: "You might not be surprised to hear that the demographics of video-game characters don't quite match up with those of real populations. But the first 'virtual census' of the human characters that inhabit US video games exposes just how much they diverge from reality. The survey reveals that males, adults and white people are over-represented in games. Females, black people, children and the elderly are correspondingly under-represented." What the fuck is up with that? I want to be able to blow away a bunch of mutant toddlers, damn it.

Study: Video Game Design Jobs Make You Male, White
also? what is up with the muslim singles? a)shouldn't this be linked to that other post? b)i can some of the girl on the left's hair. does this mean she'll be receiving 80 lashes? eeps!
Mutants are also over-represented in video game demographics.
I remember what it was like to find out that Samus Aran was a woman. It really caused me to question all of the preconceived notions I had about gender normativity.
Also: Studies undertaken to try and get our articles linked by a larger audience show dolls mostly female; water, wet.
(I'm confused: the accompanying bar charts that compare video game censuses to actual censuses show them basically lining up..?)
(Also there should be some note in there about whether the researches knew that if you type in the cheat code WILLIAMCRAIN, you get to play "Super Blario World" and if so how they incorporate that?)
