This would sound crazy if it were totally out of human boundary, except it's not. It's hard as hell to separate the real from the surreal when it come to international espionage and the true motives of world powers, To completely dismiss this Dude would be tantamount to saying that you have complete knowledge of what the Israeli government is involved in on a global scale. Also he said mercenaries', so It could just be some weird assassins with fanny packs and yarmulkes. Guess he'll have to die before this could be proven.
Some scary Irish/Croatian/Bolivian/Romanian/Hungarian dudes apparently had it in for Evo Morales earlier this year, why shouldn't the Israelis get in on the fun?
