The BBC brings word of "a deepening row in France over the alleged lengths gone to by President Nicolas Sarkozy's aides in order to conceal his short stature." The French President, generously estimated to be five-foot-six, is alleged to have stage-managed a photo-opportunity in which he was stood next to a woman no taller than he. While this will lead to predictable jokes about Napoleon complexes and the like, that seems a little unfair: I mean, it's not as if the guy is so desperate to prove his manhood that he's out there nailing supermodels or anything. Right?

Who does he think he is, Tom Cruise?
Recaptioning photo: "Sarkozy's Little Guy Stands Up."
'He is French, and short - therefore he reminds me of Napoleon.'
How's that?
*note, Napoleon was Corsican.
I may be insane, but I think the universal reason that you nail a supermodel is because you CAN.
^ Incredibly wise. Seriously.
