Sarah Palin Still Going On About The Death Panels

Against misinterpretationWhile apparently declining to make a personal appearance, Sarah Palin has responded to the invitation to testify before a New York State Senate panel on health care by providing a written response, which she has helpfully posted to her Facebook page. A brief sample:

A great deal of attention was given to my use of the phrase "death panel" in discussing such rationing. Despite repeated attempts by many in the media to dismiss this phrase as a "myth", its accuracy has been vindicated. In the face of a nationwide public outcry, the Senate Finance Committee agreed to "drop end-of-life provisions from consideration entirely because of the way they could be misinterpreted and implemented incorrectly."

Sounds vindacatory to me!

There was a rumor she's losing her hair but she could just do that in a wig.

Stay in school, Gov. Palin.

Anybody who damns a child with the name "Trig" deserves death by panel.

Why? it's short for Trigonometry. Trigonometry Palin I think it's a very intelligent sounding name and at least she didn't name Him Cody. I feel for the kid because his mother is the biggest mental challenge he'll ever have to face.

I'm assuming that suit is from the 'Flesh of the Non-Believers' line by Anne Klein ?

Flashman (#418)

It's reversible. Unlike the rulings of the Death Panel.

Hey now, back off us spinsters, bub. Unless you like the feeling of a well-used nail file in your windpipe.

KarenUhOh (#19)

Why isn't this woman getting a "Death Panel" gameshow?

Tulletilsynet (#333)

And then why hasn't The Awl started a weekly death panel feature yet?

(I've got a little list.)
