In what can only be seen as a surfeit of concern that his legislative body has not been enough of a laughingstock over the last few months, New York State Senator Ruben Diaz (D-Bronx) has invited Sarah Palin to testify at a hearing on "President Obama's proposed health care reform and the impact it will have on New York State senior citizens." Palin has not yet accepted the invitation, but that may just be a case of her waiting to see how much it pays.
