In a promotion for "The Ultimate Pole Dance Competition" to be held in New York City this October (WHY?), there are pole dancers, working bicycle carted-poles, circling midtown Manhattan today. Our secret midtown squirrel correspondent for pole-dancing sends us these shocking photos! (What follows is safe for work.)

Um what follows is less safe for work? No, like, lady-business on display? But definitely a picture of a nice mostly-clothed lady with her legs spread.

Pole dancing without nudity is like a day without sunshine.
nudity just kind of seems like too classy a word to use when describing unclothed pole dancing… perhaps "stripped" is more accurate, assuming the dancer removed the clothing while dancing on the pole.
