On The Front Lines In Pittsburgh
Local shopkeepers address the possibility of violent protests during the upcoming G20 summit: "At Enrico Biscotti, Lagattuta expects the best but understands the potential for disruption. He said he isn't worried and expects his locally made cookies to appeal to everyone. 'If a protester wants to spray somebody with cat urine, come and get a cookie first,' he said. 'Everybody needs a cookie.'" Very true!

Pull quote of the month right there. Wow.
I would like the follow-up story from Enrico Biscotti during the actual summit, when the cat urine is flying.
No COOKIES tag?
Better yet EVERYONE NEEDS A COOKIE
Honestly the coin draw prize should be tagging posts for the awl for the day.
like life can get any worse for the people of pittsburg than it is now.
brilliant. now, where's my cat urine cookie?
Also? Enrico's biscotti are totally awesome, although their almond macaroons are better. Also! The rather bad Scott Baio movie "The Bread, My Sweet" was directed by the bakery owner's wife, based on a story about the sweet old couple that lived upstairs.
The more you know (about Pittsburgh)!
Yes! And Larry (obviously) catered. http://www.thebreadmysweet.tv/crew.html
