Hot In Britain: Vera Lynn

Dame Vera Lynn, whose "We'll Meet Again" was big on the English soundtrack to World War II, still charts: A greatest hits collection hit No. 1 yesterday, making the 92-year-old oldest holder of that distinction (previous incumbent: Bob Dylan) and seeing off a collection of reissues from popular British outfit The Beatles. Also: "Last night's No 1 made her the only artist to feature in the UK single and album charts in the 20th and 21st centuries."

Does anybody here remember Vera Lynn
Remember how she said that
We would meet again
Some sunny day
Vera! Vera!
What has become of you
Does anybody else in here
Feel the way I do ?
