Have you heard about these outrageous billboards in Florida, that define rape and say that it is a terrible thing that should not be kept secret? Parents are upset that they're going to have to talk to their children about sexual violence, and therefore not ever not discuss it. These billboards are bad for children, because if they see them, the children will figure out something is wrong when Uncle Sid touches them. (WELL?) The best part is at the end of this local Fox report, in which the anchor asks, "Is there nothing that can be done about this?" And the reporter is like, "Well it's your tax money, so..." Let us go protest these informative billboards immediately, they are as hurtful as that volcano monitoring station.

I have to confess that when I pushed play, I was hoping for a visual demonstrative.
I am not sure what is so upsetting about the sentence "Sex without consent is rape." But I don't really have very delicate sensibilities so...
On the upside, I thought the date rape scene in the new Pixar movie "UP" was written well and realistically portrayed.
Hey, I'm not ready to have the "Jesus" talk with my kids yet. Can we take down all the crosses and prohibit WWJD bumper stickers and those stupid fucking fish symbols on the backs of cars? I mean, my kids are still in my house and I should have complete control over all of their mental and sensory functions, right? And while we are protesting use of government money to fund these obscene billbooards, can we please tear up all the highways and roads and airports funded with federal money? Who the fuck told "big gumment" we wanted them to impose their facistic transportation plans on us anyway? And don't even get me started on government mandated innoculations, Puh-Leez.
May I just say:
The video next in the line-up of 'stories' in the above player is 'Baby Panda Gets a Check-Up'.
Awww, baby panda!!
Yeah, let's take down the billboards that make people uncomfortable because they're about rape. Because we've seen all the great results from hiding rape and abuse and making it shameful.
F*cking Fox, man. Someone slap that anchor and reporter upside the head already.
Here's a real question: Does anyone feel that their childhood's innocence was soiled by a billboard such as this? What about by a crucifix?
I know that my mom had to explain blow jobs to me after our town's paper's top headline read "City A gives City B snow job" after a neighboring town lent ours snow removal equipment (such as blowers!) after a storm. Of course, I wouldn't have even asked the question if not for the printing of a letter to the editor whining about the word choice.
Oh, I was in 2nd grade, probably. It grossed me out, but I have moved on and now quite like them.
But a "snow job" is a phrase on its own... (Dot dot DOT!)
I think we all know the solution: encouraging illiteracy.
Ohh come on, How am I supposed to rape these kids if they know it's wrong? all the Pedo community is saying is don't use our tax dollars and fees, in some cases, to spread your socialist agenda. The Pedo community in Florida has been raping ill informed children since 1832 and it's not about to stand by and let you rob us of the right to rob children of their innocence.
We've had "Virgin: Teach your kid it's not a dirty word" billboards around Baltimore for years.
