Sam Sifton the New 'NYT' Restaurant Critic

by Choire posted @12:24 PM

A PICTURE OF SAM SIFTONHoly moley. Times culture editor Sam Sifton is the new restaurant critic of the New York Times. Sifton, by the way, turned down the job last time around. Guess working with crazed TV critic Alessandra Stanley finally broke him! He'll have to grow his hair, as a disguise… um, if he can.

And now who becomes Culture Editor? Assuming there's still a culture.

I was rooting for Brett Anderson at the Times-Picayune, but this is much much better!
