Well, I don’t know, but speaking as someone with an actual linguistics degree, which quite likely makes me a linguist, this is something else A. Dash got wrong. I understand he’s just reporting what his sources said, but then he went off script and made things worse.

It goes without saying he’ll have the last word.

Wouldn't want to disappoint ya, Joe! Looks like I got it backwards in the video -- my original post I thought it was a pidgin, not a creole. Your expertise and corrections are quite welcome, though I'm not sure it matters that much, because really we're just talking about cat pictures.
