Will Angry Twitterers Hurt Harry Potter?

The Evil always tells you that it won't come in your mouth, but it liesThere is speculation that negative reaction on Twitter hurt Bruno at the box office. The theory holds that the picture's momentum-it had a huge Friday take-was completely halted by unfavorable tweet-of-mouth. No one's sure whether the hypothesis is correct, but, hey, let's apply it to another case anyway: Will negative tweetering damage box office results for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince?

Hard-core Potter fans are sad, pathetic losers apparently upset that the film's ending is different from the resolution of the book (Half-Blood Prince the film ends with Harry getting naked and fucking a horse, which was not a plot point in the book until the final volume, Harry Potter Gets Naked And Fucks A Horse), and are expressing their displeasure on the popular microblogging platform. Notes the Hollywood Reporter: "As sexyfhqwhgads puts it, 'Harry Potter 6 ending inaccurate. Otherwise good.'" And we all know that even a middling review from sexyfhqwhgads is box office poison. We'll just have to see how it the whole thing plays out.

I love that Twitter is helping spread word of mouth about which movies are overhyped and suck.

But did you tell us just yesterday that kids don't really use twitter? And isn't anyone over 20 who uses it enough of a narcissist not to care what anyone else thinks about anything?

My Number Is My Address

I think negative (anti-CHRISTian!!!!!) moviemaking will hurt it at the box office!!!!

Seriously though I'm glad I didn't bank anything other than my happiness and my family's future happiness on the good taste and fine aesthetic discrimination of the human people.

Also I'd like to shout out to my Tweets, yo homeses! Tweet ya 'til I greet ya!

In a world where Twitter users believe their inane chatter can bring down governments and where studio hacks will use any excuse possible for a movie's poor performance, an unholy meme was born ...

From the makers of "Halo 3 Is Why That Ben Stiller Movie Tanked" ...

... and "We twotally brought down the Iranian Twovernment"

comes ...

I'm sure that the two or three people (ex-girlfriends?) who are not porn spammers among my "followers" will not be too surprised that I didn't go see this (or any other) Harry Potter movie.
