Why Did Janice Min Leave 'Us Weekly'?

LOOKOUT MIN, IT'S KLUMA reader asks: "EXPLAIN THIS, PLEASE." Oh, well, it seems pretty obvious to us, why editor Janice Min is leaving the tabloid mag Us Weekly after seven years: it is a GENIUS time to get out. She WON. They have an ad page downturn of only 10% this year, versus, like, double and triple that elsewhere. That magazine was hot, and agenda-setting, both in the category and beyond. And if I were running a mag, I'd get the holy heck out now, right now, NOW, and continue to look STERLING as the market goes further to hell. Also we figure Janice was probably like, "This time around, I need to double my salary to around $4 mil a year to continue to deal with your bullshit, Jann Wenner." And Jann was like, "Blargh blargh blargh yeargh!" And then he did a little stompy troll dance, and probably swept everything off some assistant's desk and onto the floor. Maybe he threw a coffee. And then she was like, YES, indeed, I have had enough! Win! Oh and also I would go start a website. Ha, obviously.

Come now, there was no sweeping-things-off-desks - clean desk policy, remember?

That has to be it. Was hoping you'd manage to include "totes" in that, though?
