Actually, Slim moved the monthly payment date up and Sulzberger was two days late on a payment, so now the interest is at 29.99%.

Isn;t Carlos Slim, the place with the 50s themed eating… Monroe waitresses etc? And 14%?!?!? It's like Sulzberger put it all on his Visa?

So he's saying that the New York Times is gonna be ok? I hope he's wrong! We're all supposed to cheer and have a big, kick-ass party when the Times dies. Because when the Times dies, that means BLOGGERS WIN … for some reason. I dunno, I'm a little fuzzy on the details …

But anyway, I've really been looking forward to that party and I'll be really bummed if Sulzberger saved his sucky old paper and that means NO PARTY. Boo.
