I'm (not really) surprised all this Iran-in-chaos coverage offers no perspective whatsoever re: 1970s.
Both images are of traditional Zoarastrian festivals. There is no rioting.
If it's one thing Angelinos know, it's rioting.
Because of budget slashes there was no rioting in LA last night.
LA is just practicing in case the Ayatollah tries some of that election-stealing over here.
