It's still crazy up in New York state capital Crazytown, and now it's getting personal: "Furious over Gov. David Paterson's order that senators pay and per diems be withheld, Sen. Kevin Parker called him a 'coke-snorting, staff-banging'; governor. Shortly before midnight, Parker issued a statement of apology, saying: 'My conduct today was reprehensible and regrettable. I apologize to the Governor and the First Lady and I am profoundly sorry for any pain and suffering that I may have caused the Governor's family.'" There's sure to be plenty more excitement today, but this is one of the rare moments where I'm so disgusted by an ongoing story that I actually appreciate the opportunity for massive pile-on celebrity death coverage as a way to avoid it.

I don't know what Coke Snoters, is but I think I like it.
AGH! COMMA PLACEMENT
Typos are a cry for help. Actually, everything is a cry for help.
I'm profoundly sorry for referring to Balk as, "a blow-job-mongering, bourbon-snifting; editor.
I'm hardly sorry for remembering Parker as a 'mortgage-stiffing, staff-choking, parking cop-assaulting, Post photog-banging'; senator.
Well, lucky he didn't withhold senators' pay or per diems.
I'm disappointed that Parker didn't include Paterson's blindness in his rant.
