Maher is smarmy as hell, but almost always expresses opinions I agree with, which makes him OK in my book. He should stick to panel moderating, where he really excels, and lay of the "jokes."

Spiers, where can I find a Visio drawing of the Blumenthal Scale? I need it for work.

I dunno. On the Sidney Blumenthal Scale of Smarmy Fuckitude, I think Maher's about a 7. Which still makes him somewhat watchable.
