Minneapolis Loves Dave Eggers The Most

CHECK YOUR EGGERSFrom our fine commenter sauer, here is Minneapolis' Uptown movie theater. Its marquee reads, "Co-written by Dave Eggers / Away We Go / Yup. Co-writer on Top." So many concerns here! 1. Why? 2. Poor Vendela! 3. Ha what?

At the very least, it means someone is having fun at work.

A story of two young people with no discernible ties to any particular place or lifestyle looking for a city their unborn child will like the best. Barf.

The real shock here is that the Uptown interrupted the 9-zillionth showing of Rocky Horror Picture Show for something else.

As if "hockey moms" have even been ALLOWED in that area for, like, ten years.

I KNOW, it's an ironic/hipster zone only.

Moms of any sort (and really, they should stay in the suburbs) are allowed only in the Lunds parking lot. And THAT's only if they are driving Subarus and are lesbians.

I saw "Rock and Roll High School" here in 1978. Love Dinkytown; Mr. Prince Rogers Nelson used to hang around there before he went IndecipherableGlyph.
