Media Bias More Dangerous Than Earthquakes, Godzilla
Rep. Lamar Smith (R-TX) today issued a fierce denunciation of media bias. On Fox News. Rep. Smith declared that "the greatest threat to America is not necessarily a recession or even another terrorist attack. The greatest threat to America is a liberal media bias," before collapsing in a fit of giggles and asking host Bill Hemmer if he thought "anyone would really believe this shit." Actually, no, he just kept on with his talking points. Like always.
I hereby authorize my duly-elected representatives to immediately vote for a tax decrease to eliminate the program suggested by the Distinguished Gentleman from Texas.
He can also save us some dough by cutting his own hair.

Well, SHIT. We've spent trillions of dollars to fight the recession and trillions of dollars to fight the Iraq War (which really didn't have anything to do with terrorism but shhhhh never you mind that little detail)–what asinine and money-wasting Manhattan Project does dude have in mind to stop this OMG even bigger threat?
