Nope. Reality TV couldn't save Jade. But it's amazing that a 20 something woman would die of cervical cancer. (Granted, I suspect she had an unusually virulent case, but still:..)I would like to see reality TV teach young women that pap smears and regular gyn exams are necessary at least every two (if not one) years, and that people over 40 need similar testing for intestinal cander and cardiac problems. Oh, and by the way? It's really not that expensive in terms of the materials and human power used, it's the overhead imposed by big Pharma (at least here in the US.). One fucking nuclear - oh, excuse me, nucular - warhead - can pay for a shitload of medical care.
