Here is a video of a San Francisco blackbird that relentlessly attacks passersby. There is something eerily hypnotic about it, although that may just be because of the lack of sound.

Just got out of "The Birds" matinee.
Every time I see something like this I'm amazed; I cannot imagine the stones it takes to attack something 100 times larger than yourself.

I don't think that's a magpie. Magpies are noticeably black and white, especially on the wings. It looks more like a crow to me. Although, I'm no ornithologist either.
I think we can rule out the flypecker* too. He isn't dive bombing men's crotches.
*Cross between flycatcher and woodpecker.

Funny thing, that bird just does it for the hell of it.
They should just be glad it's not a kingbird. Those things have cojones.

It's no less strangely hypnotic in person. Also,a strange sharp dig on the scalp is a great "wake me up" on one's way to get the first cup of coffee in the morning.
