I don't think that's a magpie. Magpies are noticeably black and white, especially on the wings. It looks more like a crow to me. Although, I'm no ornithologist either.
I think we can rule out the flypecker* too. He isn't dive bombing men's crotches.
*Cross between flycatcher and woodpecker.

Funny thing, that bird just does it for the hell of it.

It's no less strangely hypnotic in person. Also,a strange sharp dig on the scalp is a great "wake me up" on one's way to get the first cup of coffee in the morning.
