Brain Surgeons Still Convinced Obama Is A Muslim
Politico's Ben Smith links to a study showing that it is almost impossible to convince those who think Barack Obama is a Muslim of the actual truth. Many commenters respond with assertions that Barack Obama is a Muslim. And the circle is completed.
Air America President Mark Green appeared on WNYC TV's The Digital Age with the grandfatherly James Goodale last year. Green said:

Why would you argue against people who claim that Obama's a Muslim? Just force them to say that Muslims are evil people who eat children and they want to kill them all and that's why it's a problem that Obama's a Muslim.

After 8 years of this country having George W. as a leader (8 years and all of which I lived abroad), I'm convinced that a significant portion of the US population is just beyond stupid.
