"Hers is a face you remember, and so it is that Harry Raven, now 82, easily spots his old bête noire, Meshie – in a glass case at the American Museum of Natural History in Manhattan, even if her only identification is a sign that says 'Chimpanzee troglodytes.'" Here is a great and crazy story from Joyce Wadler of the New York Times about a man who was forced to grow up with a chimpanzee in the family.

"Alexander, step away from that child!"
We had the same problem in my house when I was growing up. Except it wasn't my Dad, it was my Mom. And it wasn't a chimp, it was a cat. Who was pretty cute. She used to sleep in the breadbox.
Hmm. I'm surprised this guy still has a face.
It's like visiting Bronze Reagan.
Nothing makes me sadder than old men talking about being little boys.
Oh god seriously.
Old ladies talking about being little girls is maybe just a tiny bit worse. Especially when they didn't get to marry the person they wanted. To thine own self be true, bitches!
