Torture Defined

Here is your insane person rant of the day. It starts by saying that the children of those who protested against torture "are most likely to end up in rehab for drug abuse because their parents wouldn't lay down the law at home when their children needed to be disciplined." Then it gets really crazy.

Torture is Mr. Goodwrench telling you it'll run you $3500 for a new carburetor on your Geo Metro, when you know he's just going to pick up the phone and order one from the lawnmower dept. at Sears.

For $3500 couldn't you just buy another Geo Metro? Or a whole lawnmower? You could mulch while you commute - green!

Or walking in 6" stiletto heels. Which frankly, if they were really serious about torture, they would trade in the water boarding for this method. Especially if they're from Payless. That "Fabric of Indeterminate Origin" they use (as opposed to leather) can really fuck up your feet.

You know, I think that it is far more likely that the people with drug problems were children whose parents used torture to discipline them.
