Hey, the new Mike Judge project airs tonight! The Goode Family is a TV show about an eco-concerned family with a vegan dog. The critics hate it, just like Idiocracy, so I will probably love it.

Almost wonder if the critics hate it because it makes fun of their pathetic little attempts to be morally upright citizens in a climate-change world.
Idiocracy is one of the great movies of our time. Any movie with an above ground swimming pool on the White House lawn is alright in my book.

i would love to see the director's cut of idiocracy. the narration is a bit too much at times.

I don't think 'the critics' have a problem with liberal sanctimony being skewered - the NYT guy yesterday seemd to really *want* to like it. Maybe, unfortunately, it's like that brown acid: not necessarily too good.
The critics hated Mall Cop too - does that mean it must also be good?
There was nothing wrong with Mall Cop that a good fifteen minutes of fart jokes couldn't cure. The critics sensed this.
The hole left in my heart by the cancellation of King of the Hill will not soon be filled. Well except with lots of Corona and maybe some Funyons.
