Star Trek Gets Some People Excited

Cho actually wanted us to embed a trailer, but no.91% of all online movie tickets being purchased right now are for the new Star Trek movie, according to the Fandango press release Nikki Finke got. That is a lot of tickets, unless you consider the fact that geeks do pretty much everything online and Star Trek is like their religion or something. Choire, for instance, is camping out in front of a theater right now, just because. I myself am not a fan of the series, but I do dig the porn.

How much you wanna bet he dressed that poor bastard up like Lt. Uhura?

I saw it, I liked it. I don't remember the series that much. Did Spock and Uhura have a thing going on in it?

I bought 2 tickets last night on Movieline. I now feel really dirty and nerdy.

I've been moist for weeks in anticipation.

Colonel Mustard

I'd go, but we all know what happens to Anakin Skywalker eventually, so it kind of takes the suspense out of it.

I'd love to put the Star Wars and Star Trek universes in a large bottle and watch them fight it out to the death.

If you're gonna put up a Kirk/Spock picture like that, you must reciprocate with a sapphic rendition of Buffy and Faith.

I'm sure imaging embedding doesn't work, but now is a good time to try!

No -- ain't doing it, but nice to see good reviews and stuff. Hopefully it'll make a killing and Hollywood can continue going about its merry way!
