RNC: Lesbian House Speaker Is Gagging For It

Last week the Republican National Committee put out a video comparing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi [D-Sodom] to the James Bond character Pussy Galore. A few early reviews are in! How is it?

  • "[A]ny sensible person watching the RNC video is left confused: do they mean to suggest that 'Pelosi Galore' is actually on the side of the angels? Or, and I grant that this seems less probable, could it be that they simply haven't a clue what they're talking about?"
  • "[I]f the people who made the video had any coherent idea in their heads apart from 'wow, it'd be cool to make a web video using the Bond theme,' it was presumably to imply that Pelosi is, like Pussy Galore, a lesbian."
  • "[T]here are plenty of guys who like to snicker about how tough, powerful broads really just need a good hard shag to jerk them into line. If I had to guess what unflattering culture caricature the RNC is going for with this ad, it's more along the lines of tarring the Democratic party as chock full of spaghetti-kneed girly men being ordered around by a ball-busting bitch in desperate need of a real man to show her who's boss."

One of the things about a great work of art is that it leaves itself open to so many different interpretations. So good job, RNC: You've finally made your masterpiece!

You don't want to see the Sarah Palin as Plenty O'Toole ad.

Republicans handle those cubes like a monkey handles coconuts.

This has got to be the stupidest attack ad. It's like they're too busy with the Bond crap to even get around to the whole "she lied" part -- which, isn't that the main thing?

I also feel obligated, from a sense of historical accuracy, to point out that Pussy Galore was instrumental in saving the world's financial system from the diabolic and ruinous schemes of the villain.

But I'll look the other way if Rush Limbaugh is cast as Goldfinger and the story has the same ending.
