Okay, Fine, SNL Was Not Terrible This Year
Did you see Saturday Night Live this weekend? It's all over the Internet if you haven't and, you know what, there's probably a good reason for that: It was pretty solid. Against the odds, and given that it is what it is, i.e. a tired format whose impact has been severely diminished in our fast-paced etc., the show had a season that actually exceeded expectations. (All sorts of charts and graphs can be found here.) Anyway, everyone's going to be talking about the "Celebrity Jeopardy" skit, which was indeed hysterical, or the final skit which inexplicably featured a cameo from every celebrity who was in town this weekend, but we're embedding the opener, with Will Ferrell as George Bush lamenting the fact that Dick Cheney wasn't the kind of Vice President who said stupid things to make his boss look smarter. It's funny because it's true.

The Norm MacDonald cameo was the greated, out of left field, WTF? moment for me. And then he disappeared.
also, "That's what the mustache is for, isn't it, Trebek?"
Hulu, I swear by Christ and all that's holy that if I ever find you (in your Hulu-hut somewhere in goddamned North America) I will slice you like a butterfly shrimp and deep fry your ass like a popcorn shrimp then feed you to your mother like a jumbo shrimp on your birthday. That's right bitch, going out like you came in; via a hole in your moms on April 7th. Copyright? Copyright my ass, this shit just stone bad planning.
Ahem.
Thank you. Carry on.
Taunting the Hulu-deprived, again.
