Exit The Plumber

Oh, no, Elephant!Symbolic tradesman "Joe" "The" "Plumber" is quitting the Republican party, according to Time magazine. His reasons for leaving include the GOP's obstructionism, anti-intellectualism, and crass unwillingness to provide viable alternatives to Democratic policies. Oops, wait, I have that wrong: He's outraged by overspending. This is an unfortunate blow for the Republicans, who cannot afford to lose unlicensed tradesmen who aren't actually named Joe-or anyone else, really-from their rapidly diminishing ranks.

A tribute to American Politics, and the Media, that anyone gives half a shit about this turd in the first place.

The Original Joe Fisher

This guy is astounding. He literally makes a living by NOT being things. Fist he wasn't a plumber and wasn't named Joe. Then he went to Isreal and proclaimed he wasn't an expert. Now he'll make his way in the world NOT being a republican.

SarahHeartburn

Why not? He's making his way NOT being gay. (That face, ¡por favor!)

Hah, TPM referred to him as 'Mr. The Plumber' - cute!

Colonel Mustard

Well, fuck. What am I going to do with these 5,000 'Plumber/Palin 2012' bumper stickers now?

He's leaving because of the GOP's anti-intellectualism?!? Have they started calling for the boycott of the text on Starburst wrappers or something?

The republican party and their fruity non-plumbers...last time (1974) they didnt so much leave the party as we put them in jail.
