Two new entrants on Twitter today! Politics oppo research queen Tracy Sefl has arrived, as has aggro New York Times biz reporter Andrew Ross Sorkin, who is already asking if the Times first quarter results would be the same if the paper's website was behind a paywall. Oh this is fun.

I loved Andrew Ross Sorkin's work on "The West Wing".
Sorkin is an idiot. His claim today, for example, about how a bank's debt trading for lower value is similar to a house's declining value is moronic beyond imagination. One is a liability and the other is an asset, dipshit.
Put it this way, if your credit card balance is $10k but you can actually settle it for $8k, you can see how this is 180 degrees different from a scenario in which your house is worth $10k less than it was when you bought it. Got it? If you did, you're smarter than the NYTimes business reporter...
At first I thought ARS was suggesting the Times release its first quarter results behind a pay wall. Haha! Wouldn't that be great. Misreading Andrew Ross Sorkin is a lot more fun than reading him.
