Miley Cyrus, In A World Without AIDS

Regarding the World Health Organization raising its pandemic level to "OMG OMG FREAK OUT" level this afternoon, Rod Townsend notes: "Can you imagine if they had reacted in such a manner to AIDS? There would be art and music and fashion in the world. And Miley Cyrus would be working at a McDonald's in Branson, Missouri."

Also, Larry Kramer might quit yelling about absolutely everything. Also, no sucky AIDS movies, although I suppose influenza de porcino will generate a genre of equal awfulness. "Longtime Companion" or "Rent" featuring only pigs might have potential though.

Also, Pedro Zamora could be the go-to mouthpiece for gay marriage rights instead of a dude who runs a blog centered around drawing penises on paparazzi photos. BONUS!

Well I would like Mr. Smarty Pants Townsend to tell me who exactly would be providing your advertising revenue this week, hmmmm? Thought so.

They don't have any ethnic restaurants in Branson.
