GM Refuses To Pay Debts

That's neat when you owe a billion dollars and you're like, "Eh, no, I want to restructure it eventually." It's even neater when doing that if you're General Motors, employer of a quarter of a million people. It's no surprise; and the stock is currently only down to $1.67. (Incidentally, that one billion is only 20% of the $5 billion they're about to be handed-after government loans of $13 billion.)

Messy. All they have left is the Cadillac mark. Too bad they can't keep that and dump the rest on the Feds.
