It's a shame that this happened on a Friday afternoon, because it's bound to get buried over the weekend, but here's a nice exchange between former Vice President Al Gore and Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) during today's hearing on climate change.

The look on Gores face after the exchange was absolutely priceless.
He was jotting something down afterwards....prolly a death warrant for that dangerous twit of a congresswoman.
I'm thinking that Blackburn & Michele Bachmann should start a band; they do have an Ann and Nancy Wilson thing going on. They could call themselves No Heart. Or No Brain.
brunette chick behind blackburn is going to cut a bitch.
Could we just have one idiot female politician without an accent? Please?
It's entertaining to watch Gore as he laughs at her and calls her out on her bullshit game. And then she pretends like that wasn't her motive because she had nowehere else to go. She's not smart enough to play the game she so badly wants to win: She gets out one zinger but doesn't think past the first shot. She planned this ambush but didn't do the research ahead of time to find out where his profits from the company go. And, as a result, basically gave Gore an opportunity to tell the public that he donates all funds from his eco work to non-profits. His opponents on climate change should all be that easy.
This makes me sad. From the early 1990s, I remember thinking highly of Al Gore as a truly visionary leader. Someone who was thinking about big ideas that would affect us all 20, 30, even 100 years down the road. Such a crying shame that we got GWB instead of him.
Those with bad motives often do not understand good motives in others.
This made my day, but probably not as much as it made his. That's just all kinds of awesome.
[...] Al Gore slaps around Tennessee congresswoman Marsha Blackburn about the amount of his philanthropic efforts. [...]
seriously? I fucking love that guy.
As Public Enemy said "Can't truss it". And by "it" I mean politicians, current and former.
That was wicked! Give it to Gore for giving Amateur Hour Blackburn a verbal beat down!
